Community Broadcasters adds more radio stations

Mittcom Founder and CEO Bruce Mittman has done it again and purchased more radio stations!!!  Bruce co-owns Community Broadcasters LLC, with Jim Leven in partnership with Northwood Ventures, has purchased Miller Communications headquartered in Sumter, South Carolina.
“We’re expanding our radio company into 3 fast-growing markets throughout South Carolina. The Miller Communications’ purchase doubles the size of Community Broadcasters and furthers our vision to grow a small-market radio group in strategic locations throughout the U.S.” says Bruce Mittman.
Community Broadcasters LLC currently owns and operates 16 signals in Elmira/Corning, Olean, Ogdensburg and Watertown, NY.  The Miller Communications’ purchase includes signals in Florence, Sumter and Orangeburg, South Carolina including 12 radio stations, 7 translators and 3 TV cps, bringing the group’s holdings to 38 signals.
“Community Broadcasters will begin operations of Miller Communications on September 8th, 2015. We have filed all transfer applications to the FCC and will continue operations with Miller Communications under a TBA (time brokerage agreement) until the FCC approves the final transaction,” adds Jim Leven.
